Aunt Carmel's Flowers

So, we went on a rafting trip with Auntie Sammie, Auntie Foo and her family, Rachel, Elana, and the Kutys. It was a lot of fun. We were trying to spend time together before Sammi moved to Utah. Also, she had never been rafting. Crazy girl. Aunt Carmel watched my kids for me very last minute. Thanks Carmel!! When I got there, Emery was just waking up. She slept on Carmel's bed and had gotten into all her flowers before she fell asleep.

OK, So I was watching Mason for Erick and Amelia for a bit and I was working in the kitchen. I heard "1..2...3...go!" and I came out to find our little monsters doing this...

The bed was in the front room because this was when our AC was broken and Christopher and I were sleeping downstairs, where it was cooler. I love that middle picture, the action shot.

These Boots Were Made For Pictures

These are Em's red boots. Aren't they K-yoot? They are hand-me-down from her cousin Bailey. I LOVE hand-me-downs. They don't quite fit her yet, but she wanted to wear them anyways, so I let her. Then we went in our back yard to the little hill, and I played around with my camera. She is the best subject to photograph.

Sometimes when I am cooking or cleaning in the kitchen I put Averson in his seat to watch me. While Chris and I were in the kitchen, Avers was watching and when we turned around to check on him we found this.... She's real good at sharing when it's something that isn't originally hers.
Averson's face here cracks me up. haha.
BTW, Emery doesn't often run around in just a diaper.

Water Park

We went to the Water Park a lot this summer. It was so cute watching Emery play in the water, and learn to play on the playground by herself. Averson even enjoyed hanging out outside in his carseat. We went almost every time with Amelia and Mason, so they usually got to enjoy the parks together. They are the cutest best friends!! One time Amelia took Mason, and I was in Elk Grove, so we couldn't go. Mason was "boycotting" the park because he was waiting for Emery...or "Memie" as he says. They really are the cutest little friends. Emery can ride on a swing by herself now but she can't get on it without help. What a big girl!

Now she is trying to step on the water.

This was right after Mason's incident. Now he has no band-aid but a cool scar above his eye, that will attract girls attention when he's older.

Carmel was taking her boys to the park across the street for pizza dinner and playing. She called to invite me, which was wonderful because Chris was working late and I was bored! It was fun to watch our kids play together and catch up.
