My Big Girl

I updated on the little peanut, and thought I should update on my big girl too. She went to the doctors for a well child check up 1 week ago. She is far behind on her check ups, so even though she is 17 months old, this was her 15 month check up.

She weighs 28 pounds even, 88th percentile.
She is 33 1/2" tall, 97th percentile.

Big girl, yes. <3 But proportionate. She has 16 teeth right now, 8 on top and 8 on bottom.

At her appointment, the doctor asked me how many words she said. I wasn't sure, so when I left I started gathering a list of the words she said. She has quite the vocabulary. I think I've compiled a fairly accurate list, although I may be missing a few.

Good news

Now she has 2 teeth. Both of her bottom teeth have broken through.

And last night I put her to bed at 10. She cried for a bit but slept til 6:30. Amaaazing!

Pearly White

Yes, just one. Emery has a pearly white. It's so little...it's so cute. I'm so excited.

Shes so cute without teeth, I can't imagine how adorable she is going to look. aaaahhh! its so freaking cute. And she is. I'm obsessed with her. But that's a good thing.

Oh yeah, and she was weighed today. 5 1/2 months....19 pounds, 7 ounces. my monster.

Teething?

I think Emery is teething. I'm not quite sure. She has been fine during the day but having rough nights, and from what I read it seems that she is. Last night however, she slept good for me. 5 1/2 hours. Then 3. Then 2 more hours and she was ready to get up. I'm expecting to see those teeth sometime soon.

She is learning to crawl. It's so amazing to watch. More and more often she moves around actually taking her tummy off the floor. It's amazing how fast she is growing. I have a basket of her toys in the front room and she always gets herself to it and empties it out and plays with the basket. She is so funny.

Her hair is growing in well. It's so soft. Well, she's so soft all over. It's hard to imagine one day she won't be a soft little baby anymore. I can't decide if I want her to grow up or not. Of course I want her to accomplish new milestones and enjoy the things I can enjoy, but I know that I am going to miss the heck out of her baby stage.

When she is with someone else and wants mommy, she will move towards me and reach out her arms. Or if she wants to get picked up. Its so freakin' adorable. I need to upload pictures from my camera, but I need to get pictures off my computer first. There is no more memory which is why I haven't uploaded in a long time.

I think next week Beth is going to babysit for me so I can get a massage. I am anxiously awaiting.
